Young Living

Young Living's Thieves essential oil blend is an interesting product. I would like to write about the stories that have been told me and stories I have experienced personally.

I became a distributor for Young Living so I could buy Thieves at the distributor cost. It has paid off. Old Man and I are in the middle age of our old age. If you understand that, you may continue. If you don't understand, go back and reread the sentence word by word by word. Then if you don't understand, just imagine . . .

Anyway, I wanted to find something to help with arthritic pain. Arthritis is an inflammation, so I was looking for a natural way to get rid of that. I hoped that would help the pain.  My first encounter with Thieves was an experiment. I used coconut oil as the carrier. I massaged that into the soles of my feet, followed by a drop of Thieves on the soles of each foot.

A little background on my pain level. My general practitioner has me on lots of pain medicine. Even so, I climb out of bed each and every morning, barely able to move, I am so stiff. To stand on my feet is like standing up on 2 pain pillars, my feet hurt so much.

The night I put the coconut oil and Thieves on my feet, I laid down expecting instant relief. It didn't come. One of the things the pain does is makes it difficult to fall asleep. This night, I had the same difficulty, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been. There are some nights I stare at the ceiling for most of the night.

I awoke the next morning, having forgotten about the foot massage from the night before. I walked out to the kitchen to make my coffee. I had sipped half the coffee before I realized I was moving much more easily and without pain. The Thieves worked! I was ecstatic! I couldn't believe it. I applied the mixture to the soles of my soles the next night. Again, it worked perfectly.
